Vintage Lefton Chase Japan Blue Cat Anthropomorphic Cookie Jar Kitsch Miss Priss

eBay Ultra-rare and hard to find blue cat cookie jar made by the Chase company in Japan in the 1950s. This kitty cat has the most marvelous blue colors, and her darling face looks hand painted with rosy cheeks, those really big expressive eyes, log eyelashes, whiskers, eyebrows, and smile. Her collar has pretty flowers and her lid has matching flowers and leaves with a bigger flower in the center that is the lid handle. This cookie jar is in near mint condition for its age with no chips, no cracks, only a glaze scrape on the top rim and glaze scrape/tiny fleabite on the jar rim that is covered by the lid and unnoticeable, but I want to point these out. The colors on this stunning piece are spectacular. Measures approx.. 8” inches tall with the lid on and retains it’s original Chase Japan black and gold foil tag. Don’t miss out!!
